Since he was little, he has been drawn to the art of storytelling. And now, he practices that art by capturing stories through a lens.

Yá’át’ééh

Born in Tucson, Arizona, but raised throughout the Midwest, with over 5 years of photography experience. He fell in love with photography during his undergraduate years at Haskell Indian Nations University when he was a student journalist for the oldest Native American Student Newspaper; The Indian Leader. He first started out doing landscape and event photography, then eventually transitioned to portrait and fashion photography. Within the past 3 years he lived in Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles, CA, Navajo Nation, and Santa Fe, NM working with talented individuals with backgrounds that stretch far across the spectrum.

In addition to his photography, his interests include; fashion design, health, and networking towards him successfully producing Fashion Shows by collaborating with Tribal establishments such at Diné College, the American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC), and Haskell Indian Nations University. Lastly, his mission is to establish the first-ever Native American Fashion Council because of his inspiration from Lloyd Kiva New.
